Self-Assessment (SA) is an evaluative exercise conducted by the institution/ department itself to assess whether or not programs meet their educational objectives and outcomes. It is done to improve the program’s quality and enhance the students’ learning, along with establishing acceptable norms of reliability and validity in the Institute/ university’s certified output.

The responsibilities of Assessment Team (AT) include:

·        To review SAR report as per guidelines provided by QEC KMU & HEC and mark areas for further review.

·        To visit department with QEC members and verify the contents of SAR.

·        To attend meetings on the findings of visits and sharing of experiences.

·        To draft a report on the prescribed format on the findings of the visits.
